Corporate Headquarters

100 Pearl Street, Hartford, CT
Description: Situated in the central Hartford business district, this 17-story, blue glass and white granite office tower was built to house offices primarily for the Bank of Boston Connecticut and Mechanic's Savings Bank. The architectural facade of granite from the original Mechanic's building was removed and incorporated into the new structure. The 4-story atrium and the greenhouses along the upper three floors of the tower and adjacent wing give the building a light airy appearance. The entire building totals 281,200 s.f. and is supported over a 4-level underground parking garage which required the removal of rock to a depth of 55 feet surrounded by turn of the century brick buildings and high rise office buildings in downtown Hartford.

Louis Dreyfus, Twenty Westport Road, Office Building and Parking Garage, Wilton, CT
Description: This new 330,000 s.f., three-story office building was constructed of steel and bronze glass curtainwall and has two levels of parking for 600 cars under the building. In addition, elevated pedestrian walkways connect the building to a new five-level, 530-space parking garage. The lobby consists of marble with polished and etched bronze details. Amenities include a 260-seat cafeteria with full kitchen and exterior deck, a fitness center with locker rooms and showers, and conference facilities.

Armstrong Park, Shelton, CT
Description: This contemporary complex sits on a wooded campus with three office buildings totaling 320,000 s.f. Impressive landscaping and granite, terrazzo and limestone finishes give the buildings their unique atmosphere. Each building is clad in gray ribbed precast panels with bands of blue reflective glass.

Centre at Purchase, Purchase, NY
Client: Purchase Corporate Park Association c/o Related Properties, New York, NY
Description: The Mutual of New York headquarters office building is 230,000 s.f. of high-tech design with a blue reflective curtain wall. A component of a 600,000 s.f. development, it overlooks a meticulously landscaped courtyard with stone paths and a large pond.

Goodwin Square Tower, Hartford, CT
Client: Goodwin Square Associates, New Haven, CT
Description: The Goodwin Square development is located in an historic district of downtown Hartford. The structure combines new construction and historic preservation to provide a mixed-use development near the State Capitol. A 31-story, 345,000 s.f. office tower rises above an eight-story parking garage. The office tower and garage are linked to the Goodwin Hotel by a five-story atrium finished in marble, brass and mahogany.

Harbor Plaza, Stamford, CT
Client: Collins Development, Stamford, CT
Description: Teak mullions, tall marble lobbies, grand staircases and mahogany details adorn five buildings, totaling 700,000 s.f., with parking for over 3,000 cars.

Hewitt Office Building & Parking Structure, Norwalk, CT
Client: Hewitt Holdings, LLC, Lincolnshire, IL
Description: Located off Route 7 overlooking the Norwalk River, this new eight-story, 260,000 s.f. office building is the first phase of a multi-building office complex. The exterior curtain wall combines glass and Italian Verdi Lavras granite. The 300,000 s.f. parking garage provides three levels of parking beneath the building for 942 cars.

Long Wharf Maritime Center, New Haven, CT
Description: This waterfront development project is a landmark on Long Island Sound, with its green mansard roofs and brick and granite facades. The two buildings consist of 700,000 s.f. of office space and the parking structure can accommodate 1,700 cars. Along the water's edge a brick paved promenade gives visitors spectacular views of New Haven Harbor.

Description: Two office buildings, totaling 160,000 s.f., set upon 17 acres with countryside views, picnic area, walking trails and surface parking for 600 cars.

Merritt 7, Norwalk, CT
Client: Albert D. Phelps, Inc., Norwalk, CT
Description: The six building, multi-phased complex consists of 1,440,000 s.f., and accommodates parking for 5,000 vehicles. Built along the Norwalk River, the structure makes extensive use of solar glass curtain walls, framed by exposed aggregate panels.

Description: Coupled with fountains and elaborate landscaping, these identical 140,000 s.f. brick and glass buildings with parking for 450 cars blend to make this corporate setting one of beauty and function.

Nestlé U.S. Corporate Headquarters, Purchase, NY

Description: Beautifully landscaped, this 280,000 s.f. facility, composed of a structural steel frame and granite facing, was built to house the executive office headquarters for Nestlé Corporation.

Pond View Corporate Center, Farmington, CT
Description: Two buildings totaling 230,000 s.f., done in art deco style, with granite, glass and brick, create a unique environment for corporate clients. Inside the three-story buildings are two-story atrium lobbies, which compliment the exterior. A third building of 117,000 s.f. is planned.

Stauffer Chemical,Westport, CT
Description: This addition to the original Stauffer complex consists of two prestigious office structures, consisting of 330,000 s.f. built above a two-story concrete garage. An adjunct structure consists of a fully concealed underground parking garage.

The Exchange Building, New Haven, CT
Client: Bank of Boston Connecticut, Waterbury, CT
Description: Listed in the Library of Congress as an Historic American Building, the original exchange building was constructed in 1832. Renovations in 1990 included the restoration of the Greek Revival exterior and replication of the original cupola, as well as four floors of office space and a street level banking facility.

Description: Sloping brick spandrels outlined by white pre-cast lineal trim accentuate the 600,000 s.f. of the three office buildings and four-story, underground parking garage built for Xerox's headquarters.
